Round-Trip project will be presented, between 14th of April and 15th of May, in 5 launching events that will take place in 5 municipalities on the countries of the 5 partners.
23rd of April – Engaging the active European citizens of tomorrow: participatory processes with children and youth, organized by SOCIUS in Berlin Municipality (Germany).
This event will take place in Berlin YEKMAL Association of Parents from Kurdistan, and will showcase successful participatory processes with children and youths. Choice of this theme is designed to encourage the engagement of children today who will be the active European citizens tomorrow but also bringing the issue of children’s participation to public attention and raising interest for cooperation with local partners, citizens groups and public institutions.
4th of May – Democratic citizenship: understanding the local reality and moving forward, organized by ECOS with Loulé Municipality (Portugal).
The main topic of this event will be democratic citizenship – understanding the local reality and moving forward. By choosing this theme, ECOS wants to understand citizen’s ideas on participation and their opinion regarding the local reality as well as ways to move forward.
