The first Round-Trip Project Launching Event took place on 23rd April, in Berlin Municipality (Germany). The event, promoted by promoted by the German NGO SOCIUS focussed on “Engaging the active European citizens of tomorrow: participatory processes with children and youth”.
The event took place in Berlin YEKMAL Association of Parents from Kurdistan, and showcased successful participatory processes with children and youth. The choice of this theme was motivated to encourage the engagement of children of today, who will be the active European citizens tomorrow, but also to bring the issue of children’s participation to public attention and to raise interest for cooperation with local partners, citizens groups and public institutions.
